Darcy Sang

by Scott Watt ~ November 12th, 2008

The other day I did a quick portrait shoot with a fantastic friend and fellow vendor, Darcy Sang. Her company is Pearl Beach Paperie.  Pearl Beach Paperie is a destination vendor for custom printed wedding items and various social and business engagements. They offer a wide variety of design and printing process choices and they tailor your needs with printing to make a lasting impression.

If you or anyone you know is in need for beautiful custom invitations, stationery or announcements, Darcy can create the perfect ones for you. Wherever you are in the country, check her out. We’ve talked about updating her portrait for her website and other marketing pieces for awhile and we finally were able to schedule a day. Here are the 2 we picked out for her to use.

If you or anyone else you know needs to update their business headshot, give me a ring and we can discuss ideas.

Another fabulous wedding

by Scott Watt ~ October 27th, 2008

On the 18th I spent the day documenting the wedding celebration of Sarah and James. What a fun couple. I had the opportunity to get to know them before the wedding by shooting their engagement session and afterwards we designed a custom guest book with the images from that session. I heard it was the talk of the wedding! Thank you Sarah and James for allowing me to document your wedding day. Stay tuned for the web slideshow! Here are a few images that I quickly pulled out. Enjoy! Click here to view the slideshow.

October 4th wedding

by Scott Watt ~ October 12th, 2008

One of my favorite places to shoot in Ohio is the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, OH. Its one of the most beautiful country clubs in Ohio. Becky and the staff there always do a remarkable job. I had not met Kyle nor Renee until that thursday before the wedding where we did fun engagement session. I had a wonderful time celebrating their day with them and their family. It feels like I’ve known them for years! Click here to view the slideshow.

Michelle and Matt

by Scott Watt ~ October 8th, 2008

Thank you Michelle and Matt for the opportunity to document your wedding celebration. It turned out to be a beautiful fall day in Akron, OH. You guys were awesome and I hope you had a wonderful time on your honeymoon. It was great getting to know your friends and family and of course it was great seeing Todd and Erin (and their family) whom I documented their wedding a little over a year ago.

Stay tuned for the link to their slideshow!

Mark’s session

by Scott Watt ~ October 3rd, 2008

Ok, I shot Tory about two weeks ago. I had a such a blast, I wanted to shoot a guy this time. I found Mark through another buddy of mine. He said he was interested in getting some shots of himself done. Again, I just want to try and  be different with my sessions, try to think outside the box. I want to put more of a fashion look into my images, to give them a different look rather than the typical high school senior shots you see out there. If your interested in a different take to the high school senior session, contact me. I would love to talk about some ideas with you.

Tory - class of 2009

by Scott Watt ~ September 29th, 2008

While in Ohio for a few weeks of weddings, I had the opportunity to shoot a high school senior session. This was actually my very first high school senior to photograph. I’ve always wanted to shoot these, but I did not want to do the typically looking ones. I wanted to be a little edgier. A little bit of fashion flare to them.

Tory came to me wanting something unique. She was so much fun to work with. We had a blast! Thanks to mom and my dear friend Holly for tagging along and helping us out. Leave a comment. Let me know which one is your favorite! If you or you know someone looking for something different for your high school senior session, let me know. Would love to work with you!

Back at it

by Scott Watt ~ September 24th, 2008

Where have I been? Well I took a few weeks off for personal reflection, visited relatives out of state, and did some traveling. I’m currently in the buckeye state (ohio for those who don’t know their geography) for a few weddings and visiting with more old friends and family. More weddings will be up soon and also a very cool senior session. In the mean time, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite girl. My good friends Steve and Emily, who I had the priviledge of shooting their wedding years ago, have an adorable little girl named Faith. I’ve always thought if I was blessed enough to have a family of my own, I’d want a boy. However Faith has definitly changed my opinion of baby girls. She has me wrapped around my finger!
